This campground observes a noise reduction curfew at 11pm.

Hickory Hollow & Beech Tree Bluff

Hickory Hollow and Beech Tree Bluff are two special campsites that offer privacy for larger groups and private family camping. These sites are perennial favorites for school and scout groups from all over Ontario. Group leaders enjoy being able to keep everybody together in a quiet spot away from the nightly activities in the main campground.

Both sites have been created to provide lots of summer shade. Call to reserve for your special occasion.

“Feel alive - re-charge with an adrenaline kick!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2014

I have rafted in France, Sweden, Turkey and with another rafting company on the Ottawa river previously but my recent experience with RiverRun Rafting exceeded all prior adventures. The entire set-up was very well organized, the guides all knowledgable, professional and safety oriented.

We were a group of 4, (one mid-aged adventure seeking mother and three young adults) and we chose the Ultimate Adventure Rafting in the 6-man raft since we wanted the maximum thrill. Our guide, Bill (from USA) get top marks - extremely professional, capable, knowledgable and friendly. He was able to deliver the thrilling adventure and adrenaline rush that we were looking for - thanks Bill!!

We stopped mid-day and jumped off of some cliffs into swift moving water (optional) and that was also great fun, challenging and exciting. Lunch was hearty and included hamburgers (there was even a vegetarian burger), hotdogs, multiple salads, hot chocolate/tea/coffee and a roaring campfire, which was a a nice touch.

If you are coming from far away, I would suggest staying one or two nights onsite - tent, cabin, cottage, spa hotel- to get the most out of your trip. My recomendation would be to arrive the night prior to your adventure, buy the meal plan so you don't have to cook dinner or breakfast, and to enjoy the camp fire in the evening. There are several things to do in the evening including using the pool table, basketball court, volley ball court, horshoes, beach, sauna - all free. There is even cozy bar, similar to a log cabin, if you want to get drinks.

This adventure was worth every cent and contributed the making this summer a total sucess. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
