Thanks to all our guests for a fantastic summer!

Summer fun with RiverRun Rafting

We've started to get things ready for the valley winter to come here at RiverRun but before we lock the gate for good on the 2015 season, we wanted to sincerely thank all the guests and staff for making the summer a a great time and a resounding success. We appreciate all the guests that came to resort for the best whitewater rafting on the Ottawa River and the awesome job done each day by each and every staff member. We hope you all join us again next spring. The office will be closed at the end of September so best to reach us by email after then. Have a great fall and winter everybody! See you for highwater season.

New Rafting Adventure Video with GoPro Camera

Big Rafts & High Adventure

Our most popular raft trip is our 12 passenger High-Adventure Whitewater Raft Trip. This big raft offers lots of whitewater fun and is perfect for first-timers, groups and families…a little more raft and a great Canadian experience!

Sport Rafts & Ultimate Adventure

RiverRun pioneered the sport raft program on the Ottawa River over 20 years ago and we can confidently say “we do it best”. Our rafts are custom made for us by Sotar. Lighter in weight and with extra cross tubes, allowing you and our guides the maximum fun and experience available in whitewater!

Family Rafting & Heritage Tour

For the young and “young at heart”, join us for this gentlewhite water rafting trip on the Middle Channel of the river. With just enough whitewater to make it fun there’s plenty to see and learn about this historical river.

Our Resort & Accommodations

With over 4000 feet of beautiful shoreline on the Ottawa River, RiverRun Rafting & Wilderness Resort offers the best location on the river. The resort property is the arrival point for your day of adventure with a short bus ride to put-in. Located just below the last set of major rapids you will arrive back at the resort for hot showers, your dry clothes, a cool refreshement at our lively pub while enjoying a video re-run presentation of your trip. No wet bus rides or long boat tows at the end of your day!

Camping, meals and a choice of affordable accommodations are available to overnight stays.

* Please note that guests not booked into a two day overnight rafting package but camping one night or staying in any RiverRun accommodations for a single night , will be charged a standard $19.00 per person overnight fee that includes a buffet breakfast the following morning and use of all resort amenities. This fee is charged in addition to the cost of the accommodations and applies to rafting guests and non-participants.

RiverRun Christmas Gift Certificate 2015

“Feel alive - re-charge with an adrenaline kick!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2014

I have rafted in France, Sweden, Turkey and with another rafting company on the Ottawa river previously but my recent experience with RiverRun Rafting exceeded all prior adventures. The entire set-up was very well organized, the guides all knowledgable, professional and safety oriented.

We were a group of 4, (one mid-aged adventure seeking mother and three young adults) and we chose the Ultimate Adventure Rafting in the 6-man raft since we wanted the maximum thrill. Our guide, Bill (from USA) get top marks - extremely professional, capable, knowledgable and friendly. He was able to deliver the thrilling adventure and adrenaline rush that we were looking for - thanks Bill!!

We stopped mid-day and jumped off of some cliffs into swift moving water (optional) and that was also great fun, challenging and exciting. Lunch was hearty and included hamburgers (there was even a vegetarian burger), hotdogs, multiple salads, hot chocolate/tea/coffee and a roaring campfire, which was a a nice touch.

If you are coming from far away, I would suggest staying one or two nights onsite - tent, cabin, cottage, spa hotel- to get the most out of your trip. My recomendation would be to arrive the night prior to your adventure, buy the meal plan so you don't have to cook dinner or breakfast, and to enjoy the camp fire in the evening. There are several things to do in the evening including using the pool table, basketball court, volley ball court, horshoes, beach, sauna - all free. There is even cozy bar, similar to a log cabin, if you want to get drinks.

This adventure was worth every cent and contributed the making this summer a total sucess. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
